Darigold, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic for the Sunnyside team. The role involves maintaining and repairing plant equipment, with emphasis on sanitary welding and stainless steel fabrication.

The candidate will also support special projects and equipment records, ensuring reliable operation of production lines. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience, with formal education in a related field preferred.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and repair plant equipment across the Sunnyside facility.
• Repair rotating machinery and troubleshoot production equipment.
• Perform sanitary welding and stainless steel fabrication as required.
• Interpret P&ID, mechanical, and electrical drawings for maintenance tasks.
• Work with CMMS systems and manage work orders to track maintenance activities.
• Assist with special projects and equipment records as needed.
• Be available to work any shift including nights and weekends.
• Collaborate with team members to plan, prioritize, and execute maintenance tasks.

Darigold is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Mechanic to be a part of Darigold’s Sunnyside team. The Maintenance Mechanic must possess the desire and ability to maintain and repair all plant equipment. The Maintenance Mechanic’s role is to maintain and repair plant machinery and assist with special projects, which include fabrication and sanitary welding.

What you Will Do

• Proven sanitary welding experience
• Proven stainless steel fabrication and welding skills
• Experience maintaining and repairing rotating machinery
• Experience in trouble shooting and repair of production equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical motors and controls
• Working knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems and boilers
• Experience in troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Ability to interpret P&ID, mechanical, and electrical drawings
• Understanding and experience of preventive maintenance
• Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and maintain equipment and records
• Understanding and working knowledge of CMMS systems and work orders
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong team player
• Must be available to work any shift including nights and weekends

Pay: $32 to 36 per hour
