Responsibilities

• Assist senior mechanics with all mechanical tasks.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Troubleshoot machinery and equipment malfunctions.
• Assist with installation of machines and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance.
• Construct machinery parts by cutting, forming, and assembling.
• Repair machine guarding and inspect equipment visually and through testing.
• Operate cutting torches or welding equipment for metal work.
• Lubricate equipment as needed.
• Adjust and repair conveyors and piping.
• Operate production equipment as necessary to support operations.
• Follow all safety, GMP, and company policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read, write, and understand instructions.
• Teamwork skills.
• Ability to operate a forklift or complete forklift training.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3 months to 1 year of experience.
