Responsibilities
  • Assist senior mechanics with all phases of mechanical work in the Canning Room.
  • Keep maintenance records updated.
  • Troubleshoot machinery and equipment malfunctions.
  • Assist in installing and performing routine maintenance on machinery.
  • Construct and repair machinery parts and guards.
  • Inspect and test machinery, operate cutting and welding equipment, and lubricate equipment as needed.
  • Adjust conveyors and piping; operate production equipment as required.
  • Follow all safety and GMP policies and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand instructions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
