Job summary

Seneca Foods in Cambria, WI is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair food processing equipment across the facility. You will overhaul and install plant equipment during non-production periods to ensure readiness for the next production run.

Responsibilities include inspecting and maintaining machinery, reading sketches and blueprints, fabricating and welding as needed, keeping PM records, and enforcing GMP, safety rules, and company policies.

• Trouble shoot, repair, and replace machinery as required
• Read sketches and blueprints to determine layout of assigned work
• Design, fabricate, weld, and install equipment as required
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and PM completed
• Monitor equipment operation making any necessary adjustments
• Ensure that GMP’s (General manufacturing Practices), safety rules and regulations are being followed and enforced
• Other duties as assigned
