Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to diagnose and repair equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. You will analyze test results, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure machinery runs reliably.

The role requires hands-on expertise with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and willingness to work varied shifts. Base hourly rate is $33.91 with opportunities to contribute to a leading dairy producer and community-focused culture.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with electrical schematics reading a plus.
• Experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Reassemble equipment after inspections and testing.
• Troubleshoot, install, repair and maintain operating condition of production machinery including hydraulic, pneumatic systems, motors, gearboxes, VFD/HMI/Servo controls.

Responsibilities

• Analyze test results, machine error messages, and information obtained from operators in order to diagnose equipment problems.
• Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery.
• Disassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
• Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear.
• Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters and other testing devices.
• Operate newly repaired machinery and equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.
• Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.
• Troubleshoot, install, repair and maintain the operating condition of industrial production and processing machinery and equipment, to include but not limited to: hydraulic and pneumatic systems, motors, gearboxes, VFD/HMI/Servo control devices, conveying systems, industrial printers, valves, photo eyes, switches, heat exchangers, level controls.
• Repair and replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment.

Requirements

• Industrial ammonia refrigeration, high pressure boiler and utility experience.
• 1-2 year(s) prior industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing environment required.
• Ability to utilize computer-based maintenance planning/PM ERP platforms, SAP a plus.
• Ability to trouble-shoot electrical, hydraulic systems and pneumatic equipment.
• Strong electrical background in addition to mechanical skills.
• Experience with computerized or automated controls and ability to read electric schematics a plus.
• Self-motivated detail–oriented and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work any shift, including overtime and weekends as necessary

Base Hourly Rate: $33.91
