Job description

PRC Management Co., Inc., a well-established real estate company in New Jersey, is seeking a full-time Maintenance Mechanic for Brighton Arms Apartments. This position is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and overall care of the apartment complex.

We are looking for a dependable, courteous, and respectful individual who can work both collaboratively with a team and independently. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in apartment maintenance and a commitment to providing high-quality service to our residents.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the maintenance team to keep the property in excellent condition
  • Troubleshooting and repairing issues with professionalism and attention to detail
  • Communicating effectively with residents and staff
  • Performing general maintenance tasks including:
    • Light carpentry
    • Basic electrical and plumbing
    • Sheetrock repair and spackling
    • Floor replacement and painting
  • Completing service work orders, preparing apartments for turnover, cleaning common areas, removing trash, and assisting with snow and ice removal as needed
  • Participating in the on-call rotation for emergency repairs

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of experience in apartment maintenance or a related field
  • Ability to lift heavy objects
  • Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle
  • Own set of tools
