Job description

Maintenance Mechanic (Bottling / Filling Production Lines)

Join our team as a Maintenance Mechanic specializing in Bottling and Filling Production Lines. This position offers up to $36 per hour with lots of overtime opportunities.

Job Details
  • Perform general maintenance such as replacing valves, pumps, motors, and gear reducers.
  • Experience with packaging equipment like labelers, fillers, cappers, jet printers, and heat tunnels.
  • Disassemble and assemble electric motors, pumps, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Repair machinery and conveyor belts.
  • Basic electrical knowledge required.
  • Maintain technical and professional knowledge.
  • Perform miscellaneous plant maintenance duties.
  • Basic machinist skills using lathe and mill are a plus.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the cosmetics, food, or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Ability to communicate in English; bilingual in English/Spanish is helpful.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical processes.
  • Ability to read mechanical and electrical prints.
  • Proficient with hand and power tools.
  • Analytical troubleshooting skills.
  • Willing to work overtime and be on call for emergencies.
  • Must have own tools.
