Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic Associate to perform preventive and corrective maintenance across multiple facilities, primarily at the Pittsburgh Airport facility and one in Butler County. The role includes a company vehicle and fuel card for travel.

Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, daylight hours. Strong preference for candidates with HVAC, electrical, or plumbing experience and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred: General HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing

Responsibilities

• Installs, tests, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, and systems as scheduled or needed.
• Performs utility and structural repairs as needed, alone or with internal/external tradespersons.
• Moves items within/between locations and from/to storage.
• Performs landscaping of grounds as scheduled and needed.
• Evaluates and reports conditions that detract from safety or aesthetic value of the premises.
• Removes debris and remediates hazardous conditions.
• Assists contractors/vendors with on-site events or maintenance.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.
