Job Description

Position Overview: Responsible for operating injection equipment and understanding the overall flow of product. This involves processing and mechanical adjustments to ensure high-quality output that meets customer expectations.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties
  • Maintain production objectives through proper machine operation and accurate record-keeping.
  • Make necessary machine adjustments during start-ups and maintain consistent operation and quality.
  • Perform quality assurance tests, enter data into the system, and have authority to stop production if quality issues arise.
  • Understand start-up and shut-down procedures to minimize downtime and equipment wear.
  • Ensure safe operational conditions of all equipment.
  • Improve equipment, utilities, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Participate in quality training and GMP meetings for continuous improvement.
  • Recommend and implement repairs, modifications, and fabrication as needed.
  • Be flexible to work overtime and cover for vacations.
  • Perform system room checks and operate a forklift as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Basic understanding of electricity and controls.
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, understanding).
  • Ability to coordinate movements quickly in a high-output environment.
  • Willingness to accept additional duties as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
