Woodward FST is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the 3rd Shift. Qualifications

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're a Maintenance Mechanic, we have an exciting opportunity for you. The Maintenance Mechanic - 3rd Shift reports to the supervisor and is responsible for addressing trouble calls and performing associated maintenance and repair activities on basic machines. The role works under close supervision and limited contact with external suppliers and customers.What You Will Be Doing- Address trouble calls and perform associated maintenance and repair activities.
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure that machines and equipment continue to run smoothly.
- Verify all paperwork is present and filled out appropriately.
- Transport parts or items from one area of the facility to another using forklifts, other motorized vehicles, carts, wheels, cranes, etc.
- Assist in the movement of equipment in the facility to support changes in production/facility systems and the installation of new equipment.
- Change and clean various types of filters (e.g., coolant, fuel, oil).
- Clean tanks, pumps, and lines.
- Collect, transport and dispose of hazardous material appropriately and following all guidelines.
What We Are Looking ForLevel 1:- US-High School Diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical related work experience preferred
- US Department of Transportation Hazmat Employee Training Certificate preferred
- RCRA & Universal Waste Training preferred
Level 2:- US-High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years related work experience required
