WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH:

  • The duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Perform general and preventive maintenance work including mechanical, 1 & 3 phase electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, and fabrication.
  • Assist in maintaining and documenting assigned P&IDs, electrical control drawings, process descriptions & equipment tagging.
  • Knowledge of PLC's computer interfaces, and other related electrical control devices preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Maintenance Management System, spare parts documentation, and work order completion preferred.
  • Assist in maintaining P&ID's, electrical control drawings, process descriptions, equipment tagging, and documentation as assigned.
  • Effectively communicate daily issues through documentation in MMS, area logbooks, electric pass down and verbal communication with peers.
  • Participate in all TPMS event "Tool Box Meetings", during this event conduct a safety briefing and daily expectation setting to ensure that the TPMS event completion is on time, with the expected machine efficiency results.
  • Provide assistance to initiate and complete IRs/BDAs/GSTDs.
  • Apply working knowledge to provide preventative and corrective maintenance support for food plant equipment in the Tetra Filling and packaging areas, including: high speed packaging equipment, robotic palletizers, AGV's, product sterilizing equipment, instrumentation and form/fill/seal filling machines

  • Follow the plant safety rules, report incidents & unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Follow factory safety & environmental objectives & targets.
  • Maintain compliance with regulations to the Safety & Environmental System(s).
  • Understand the environmental aspects of the position and take action to reduce these environmental impacts.
  • Follow Nestle Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Maintain compliance with regulations on all related procedures and programs.
  • Understand the food safety and quality aspects of the position.
  • Understand and apply the principles of continuous improvement in the work area.
  • Maintain a clean and 5S compliant.
  • Maintain a positive attitude.
  • Communication with Team Advisor and co-workers.


Skills and Knowledge:

  • Ability to trouble-shoot equipment.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word
  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Self-directed/ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work independently and in groups.
  • Effective reading, writing, communication, and computer skills.
