Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment at a food manufacturing plant near Hiram, OH. The role requires hands-on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills, plus PLC troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in industrial maintenance, can read schematics, and performs preventive maintenance within a safety-conscious manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or an associate’s degree is preferred.
• Three or more years of industrial maintenance experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting production equipment, electrical systems, motor controls, VFDs, sensors, and controls.

Responsibilities

• Respond to production equipment issues and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
• Repair and maintain production machinery, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics to support troubleshooting and repairs.
• Independently troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, including PLC I/O diagnostics and reading ladder logic to identify faults.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep accurate maintenance records.
• Identify recurring problems and help develop lasting fixes.
• Request parts and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Follow plant safety procedures and food manufacturing quality practices.

Location: This position is on-site in Hiram, OH. Please apply only if you live within about a 45-minute drive of Hiram.Pay: $34.10–$36.70/hr depending on experience, plus a $2.10/hr night premium on 12-hour nights.Schedule: 2-2-3 rotating 12-hour shifts. You work about 14 days a month and get every other weekend off (3-day weekend). Day and night shifts available.What you'll do: Keep production lines at a modern food manufacturing plant running.
