Electrical Automation Services in Ohio is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment in a food manufacturing facility. The role requires at least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience, with strong skills in electrical systems, PLC troubleshooting, motor controls, VFDs, and reading schematics.

Day and night shifts are available on-site in Hiram, with a rotating 12-hour schedule. Occasional welding and basic computer literacy are a plus.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or an associate’s degree is preferred.
• Three or more years of industrial maintenance experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting production equipment, electrical systems, motor controls, VFDs, sensors, and controls.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read schematics and use standard diagnostic tools.
• PLC troubleshooting experience required; PLC programming experience is a plus.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with workplace safety practices.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to production equipment issues and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
• Repair and maintain production machinery, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics to support troubleshooting and repairs.
• Independently troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, including PLC I/O diagnostics and reading ladder logic to identify faults.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep maintenance records.
• Identify recurring problems and help develop lasting fixes.
• Request parts and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Follow plant safety procedures and food manufacturing quality practices.
