Maintenance Mechanic

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of various mechanical and electrical systems within our facility, ensuring optimal operation and safety. This position requires a proactive approach to maintenance management and a strong skill set in troubleshooting and repair.

Shift Expectations: Please indicate your preference for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift. This role also includes rotating on-call duties and opportunities for overtime pay.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, ET Carts, heater changes, high-voltage cabinet work, and extrusion.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure reliability and efficiency of equipment.
• Assist in welding and fabrication tasks as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals for maintenance tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during maintenance operations.
• Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and services.
• Collaborate with other team members to improve maintenance processes and equipment performance.
  
  

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven experience as a maintenance mechanic or similar role
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and industrial equipment.
• Experience with ET Carts, heater changes, high-voltage cabinet work, extrusion, or a background in plastics is highly preferred.
