What You Will Do
  • Repair, construct, overhaul, or modify machine tools and shop equipment.
  • Set up and operate general purpose machine tools for making or repairing parts.
  • Read shop sketches and electrical schematics, troubleshoot hydraulics and pneumatics, and rebuild related equipment.
  • Operate lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and surface grinders to produce or refurbish components.
  • Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues, assist with electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, and ensure machine accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and vendors, including parts sourcing.
  • Follow industrial safety protocols and handle hazardous materials properly.
  • Manage multiple priorities, be flexible with shifts, and work from heights up to 20 feet.
  • Obtain an Industrial Vehicle license and work the 2nd shift (3 pm - 1 am, Mon-Thurs, 4x10 hours).

Qualifications You Must Have
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of related experience or a technical certificate/post-secondary degree in a related field.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience in mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, engineering drawings, and shop mathematics.
  • Technical school certificate or degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP, knowledge of ACE tools.
