Job summary

Amneal is seeking a Maintenance Technician in the New York area to support the Operations Department by keeping production equipment running efficiently. The role involves repair work across electrical, sheet metal, and mechanical trades, using blueprints and diagrams in both indoor and outdoor settings. Travel by car is occasional.

The position is 2nd shift, 3:30pm–12:00am with overtime on weekends. OSHA respirator fit test completion is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Vocational/Technical training in machine repair, electrical, sheet metal preferred.
• 3–5 years of hands-on repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and performs preventative maintenance to ensure cost-effective upkeep.
• Performs repair work on equipment, utilities, and systems as assigned.
• Conducts electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repairs; reads blueprints and diagrams.
• Trains maintenance personnel for productivity.
• Maintains equipment manuals, warranties, and tool inventories.
• Reviews work orders for proper documentation.
• Directs safety equipment use and procedures.
• Performs other tasks aligned with department goals.
