Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the 2nd shift at the Troy, IL facility. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance of plant equipment, troubleshooting, and quick repair actions to keep production lines running smoothly.

You will install, repair, and fabricate equipment as needed, while supporting Tier 1 & 2 operations and GDP-based improvement initiatives across the plant.

Qualifications

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment and mechanical issues.
• Install, repair, and fabricate new equipment and components as needed.
• Support Tier 1 & 2 operational processes through action cards and rapid response activities.
• Support GDP-driven continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility.

The core hours are Monday -Friday, 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times.The hourly rate for this position is $27.92 per hour, plus a $0.50 cent shift differential. Employees follow a wage progression schedule and will reach $30.61 per hour after 16 months.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only.
