Job Description

Repairs and maintains food-grade machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, production machines, and other facilities equipment.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facilities equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs during machine downtime.
• Utilize mechanic skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
• Achieve production goals through preventative maintenance and continuous improvement practices.

Additional Details

Position available for 2nd shift (Monday-Friday, 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm) and 3rd shift (rotating schedule, 6:00 pm - 6:00 am).
