Job summary

One Fine Family in Baltimore is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic II to maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, and facility systems in a fast-paced food production environment.

The role requires independent work on routine tasks and mentorship of junior mechanics, with responsibilities including preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, conveyors, pumps, and processing equipment, plus reading schematics and ensuring OSHA/USDA compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Proficient with hand tools, multimeters, and basic fabrication.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work at heights.
• Pass post-offer pre-employment drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, conveyors, pumps, and food processing equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Mentor Mechanic I staff on safety and troubleshooting.
• Set up equipment in both buildings and coordinate with supervisors to minimize downtime.
• Tig/Mig welding and fabrication; electrical trouble shooting and control wiring.
• Plumbing (valves, piping, water drops) maintenance as needed.

This role requires working knowledge of food production equipment, preventive maintenance, and safety practices.
