Job summary

McCormick & Company, Incorporated, a global leader in flavor, is seeking a full-time Utility Mechanic for the Flavor Manufacturing Center in Hunt Valley, MD. This first shift role reports to the Maintenance Team Manager and focuses on mechanical and electrical maintenance to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, rebuilds, PLC/HMI work, and mentoring technicians. Candidates should have 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience and be able to lift 50 lbs and operate a

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years in industrial mechanic/electrician role, preferably in food industry.
• Basic mechanical and electrical skills; PLC/Ladder Logic/HMI familiarity.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and operate a forklift on occasion.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities; able to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical duties including breakdown analysis and repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment to reduce downtime.
• Read blueprints and manuals; interpret equipment specifications.
• Provide training and mentoring to Maintenance Technicians.
• Maintain safety and GMP compliance on the work floor.
