Job summary

Polar Seltzer is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for 1st shift to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and safety.

You will troubleshoot equipment, repair or replace parts, read schematics, and follow lockout/tagout procedures while supporting a collaborative maintenance team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment with machine maintenance and repair.
• Must be able to read and understand schematics.
• Experience in mechanical and/or electromechanical maintenance in a work or school environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair production equipment.
• Troubleshoot production machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts.

Job Summary:Maintenance Mechanics are responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance and repair of the production machinery.

Essential Duties / Job Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair production equipment.
• Troubleshoot production machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts.
• Repair machines and equipment using approved procedures and standards while maintaining safety practices.
• Follow Lockout / Tag out procedures.

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to troubleshoot problems with manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance to equipment
• Motivated self-starter with the ability to work in a team and independently to achieve team objectives.
