Job summary

Menasha Corporation is seeking skilled Maintenance Mechanics to maintain and repair production equipment in Minooka, IL. This role supports 1st and 2nd shifts with a starting pay of $31–$35 per hour plus benefits.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnostic repair for mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems, and collaboration with production teams to ensure smooth operations. Candidates should read blueprints and operate CMMS tooling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong troubleshooting in electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.

Maintenance Mechanic – Keep Our Operations Running Smoothly!

Location: Minooka, IL
Schedule: 1st and 2nd shift opportunities
Compensation: $31-$35/hr + benefits

What You’ll Do

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery and mechanical systems.

What You Bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Experience with industrial voltages up to 480V and EAM CMMS systems.
• Skilled in using measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, DMMs, etc.).
• Familiarity with metal fabrication and modular equipment movement.
• Knowledge of ladder logic, relay logic, and motor controls is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and digital communication tools.
• Ability to respond to production line calls and recommend necessary parts.
• Advanced knowledge of machine operations and mechanical functions
• Ability to disassemble, repair, and troubleshoot plant machines
• Ability to make simple parts or equipment and tools
  

Physical Requirements

• Work in a production/warehouse environment.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs. throughout the shift.
• Must provide own tools.
• 1st shift (Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm)
• 2nd shift (Monday-Friday 3:30pm-12am)
  

The expected salary range for this position is $31-$35 hourly. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan and for a full benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; basic term life, AD&D, Short and Long term disability; EAP; 401(k) retirement savings plan; PTO and paid
