Maintenance Mechanic

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the repair and maintenance of our equipment and machinery. From performing routine maintenance to diagnosing breakdowns, you'll be at the forefront of keeping our operations running smoothly.

We are open to candidates new to maintenance as well as experienced maintenance professionals.

***$1,000 Sign-On Bonus***

• Position Type: Hourly, Full Time
• Work Hours: Swing Shifts
• Varying start and end times, including weekends
• Will have up to 7 days off in a row
• Pay Range: $27.00 - $30.00/hour, depending on experience
• Plus, $2.00/hour shift premium for all hours worked
• Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair breakdowns related to machinery, utility services, and building structures.
• Utilize preventative techniques to perform routine maintenance on plant equipment.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments to repair and maintain machinery according to specifications.
• Complete all necessary documents accurately and adhere to 5S standards for cleanliness.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude through previous experience or hobbies.
• Follow and interpret verbal and written work instructions.
• Take initiative, work independently, and drive tasks to completion without supervision.
• Maintain physical stamina, manual dexterity, and ability to lift/move heavy objects frequently.
• Be highly organized, manage multiple tasks efficiently, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain clear and accurate records.
• Build positive relationships and communicate effectively with team members and internal customers.
• Read and understand blueprints and schematics.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically requires a minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Previous maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
• Previous powered industrial equipment certification is preferred.
• Demonstrated steady work history with minimal employment gaps.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential to support production timelines and team operations.
