Seneca Foods Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic 1 to maintain and repair food processing equipment, ensuring production goals are met during the processing season and overhauling plant equipment during non-production periods for the next run.
Responsibilities include inspecting and repairing machinery, reading blueprints, fabricating and installing equipment, and maintaining PM records while assisting in training new mechanics, with emphasis on safety and quality.

Assigned mechanical job duties to maintain and repair food processing equipment. Completes repairs during the processing season to meet production goals. Overhaul and install plant equipment during non-production periods to be ready for the next scheduled production run.

Indoor and Outdoor exposures, along with hot and cold weather, machinery and forklift noise, moving equipment, and wet floors. As well as minimal chemical exposure and nuisance dusts.
Bump hat, eye and ear protection. Other safety equipment as needed.
