Job summary

Elior's Traditions Prepared Meals Sacramento facility is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our food manufacturing equipment running smoothly. The role focuses on refrigeration, A/C systems, and general maintenance in a fast-paced plant environment.

You will service production lines, perform preventative maintenance, document repairs, and operate with minimal supervision. The position is full-time and onsite in Sacramento, CA, with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Training and experience in Refrigeration, Electrical, and General Maintenance.
• Two years’ experience in Refrigeration, Electrical, and General Maintenance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and repairing of the production line and cooking equipment.
• Assisting in maintaining refrigeration and A/C equipment.
• Attending all safety training classes and assist in equipment use training.
• May perform non-maintenance tasks throughout the facility.
• General repairs and maintenance to keep the facility clean and safe.
• Performing and documenting preventative maintenance on all equipment.
• Update and maintain equipment list and repairs.
• Sanitizing air conditioning unit.
• Remove buildup of ice on freezer floors as needed.

The Role at a glance:

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician in Sacramento, CA. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that the food manufacturing equipment is running smoothly. This position will help maintain refrigeration and A/C equipment and perform repairs and maintenance as needed.

What you will be doing:

• Servicing and repairing of the production line, and cooking equipment.
• Assisting in maintaining refrigeration and A/C equipment, when necessary.
• Attending all safety training classes. Assist in equipment use training.
• May be asked to perform non-maintenance-related tasks throughout the facility.
• General repairs and maintenance, to keep the facility in a clean safe condition.
• Performing and documenting preventative maintenance on all equipment.
• Update and maintain equipment list and repairs
• Sanitizing air conditioning unit.
• Responsible for removing the buildup of ice on the freezer floors as needed.

What we are looking for:

• Training and experience in Refrigeration, Electrical, and General Maintenance
• Two years’ experience in Refrigeration, Electrical, and General Maintenance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Must be able to work in freezer and cold environment for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Computer knowledge and skills helpful.
