Job summary

Novolex in Canandaigua, NY is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support automation equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot production lines. This role offers a 3pm-11pm or 11pm-7am shift with weekly pay and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Candidates should have analytical and technical skills in mechanical, electrical, and PLC programming, plus 3+ years manufacturing experience and own tools. HS diploma or equivalent required; associates preferred.

Qualifications

• Analytical, problem solving, and strong technical skills including mechanical, electrical and PLC programming.
• Strong skills in customer service, interpersonal, oral communication, written communications, teamwork, judgment, motivation, planning, organizing, professionalism, quality, quantity, safety, adaptability, attendance, punctuality, dependability, initiative, innovation.
• HS Diploma or equivalent; preferred associates degree.
• 3+ years technician experience in a manufacturing setting
• Must have own tools and be able to use them safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic troubleshooting and maintenance work on automation equipment.
• Performs maintenance, set-up, and PM on automation/production equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment-related processing issues.
• Utilizes a computer-based inventory system for generating reports to locating spare parts.
• Perform Maintenance Connection day-by-day duties.
• Assists maintenance/production staff as needed.
• May assist in the training of other employees.
• Performs quality work within reasonable time standards set forth by management in verbal or written instructions.
• Utilizes mandatory safety equipment. Executes duties in a safe and efficient manner. Adheres to all Safety rules and regulations

Job Description

Maintenance Mechanic|Canandaigua, NY| HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Compensation:

• $24.83 to $35.47 per hour (Paid Weekly)
• *$5000 Sign on Bonus*

Available Shifts:

• 3pm-11pm (C Shift)
• 11pm-7am (A Shift)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
