Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Monroe, GA. The role focuses on mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in high-speed manufacturing equipment.

Starting pay ranges from $24 to $30 per hour, with a $2/hour night shift differential. The position offers a 36-hour schedule paid as 40 hours, with a D shift from 7:00pm to 7:00am, Friday through Sunday.

Qualifications

• 2 years of industrial maintenance experience required.
• Proficient in electrical troubleshooting of 480VAC and 24VDC systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Experience troubleshooting VFDs, servos, single-phase and three-phase motors.
• Experience with PLCs and HMI systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair bag machinery and support equipment.
• Report machine defects that cannot be corrected to the Maintenance Manager.
• Assist fellow mechanics and production employees as needed.
• Work overtime when required to restore equipment and support production.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems including 480VAC, 240VAC, 120VAC, and 24VDC circuits.
• Troubleshoot VFDs, servo drives, motors, sensors, encoders, relays, and safety circuits.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities to reduce downtime.
• Use diagnostic equipment including multimeters, clamp meters, and insulation testers.
• Support equipment upgrades, automation projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain maintenance records and work orders using CMMS software.
• Follow OSHA, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and NFPA 70E electrical safety requirements.

Overview
