What We Are Looking For

Responsible for the maintenance and repair of passenger vehicles and heavy equipment

What You Will Do

• Ø Diagnoses and repairs vehicles, heavy equipment and other company property.
• Ø Performs routine maintenance on vehicles and heavy equipment.
• Ø Assists with semi-complex engine overhauls.
• Ø Reads manuals, charts, schematics, and blueprints.
• Ø Completes and maintains accurate paperwork and records necessary to insure parts and time are allocated to the correct equipment.
• Ø Works in other areas as needed.
• Ø Maintains proper housekeeping in and around the shop area.
• Ø Training and/or demonstrated experience in heavy equipment/diesel repair.
• Ø Valid driver’s license
• Ø Understanding of both OSHA and EPA standards as they relate to the position and performance of the job.
• Ø Ability to read manuals, charts, schematics, and blueprints.
• Ø Owns tools and maintains them in safe working condition.
• Ø Ability to follow written and oral instructions and/or directions
  • Ø Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds - (High Physical Demand Level per DOL
  • Ø Must meet and maintain certification for use of respiratory protective equipment as required by OSHA 1910.134
  • Ø Demonstrated aptitude to execute customer orders and maintain necessary records
  • Ø Must have the ability to work with a team, take direction from supervisors, keep required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work
