Our client is seeking a qualified and motivated maintenance mechanic.

Full Benefits

The maintenance mechanic will be responsible for ensuring the continued operation of all equipment, including modification, installation, repair and preventative maintenance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain all secondary / support machinery, pumps, AC / heating units, compressors, electrical panels, etc
• Proper diagnostic and problem solving in an immediate response situation to all equipment failure.
• Ensure proper documentation and information is recorded on a daily basis.
• Maintain cooling tower, parts washer and driers.
• Perform preventative maintenance duties to keep equipment in optimal performance.
• Proper diagnostic and problem solving in an immediate response situation to equipment failure.
• Check overall condition and operation of equipment on an ongoing and regular basis.
• Ensure that all plant equipment has adequate spare parts, including but not limited to essential stock.
• Ensure documentation and records are maintained adherent to ISO / IATF 16949 Quality System.

Attend training activities as required.

• Participate in safety and OSHA training.

Qualifications, Education and Experience

• HS Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of experience
• Basic electrical, welding, and fabricating skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety requirements.
