Job summary

Dawn Staffing Solutions Inc. (USA) is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for a manufacturing client near Edgewater Terrace, IL. The role covers installation, maintenance of fabrication equipment, and reading engineering drawings to set up tooling.

Work on 2nd and 3rd shifts, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure safe, clean, organized work areas while following all safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience with machine operation and basic maintenance.
• Reading engineering drawings for setup and tolerances.
• Experience with production machinery and measurement tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, adjust, and maintain fabrication equipment and production lines.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings for proper equipment and tooling setup.
• Operate assigned production lines and perform required quality checks and hourly counts.
• Perform basic tooling adjustments and resolve minor machine issues.
• Maintain tools and equipment in clean, safe, and working condition.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and record findings in the maintenance system.
• Troubleshoot equipment and quality issues and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions immediately.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or leads.

Pay -$25 - $30/hr
