Job summary

The Atrium at Navesink Harbor, part of Springpoint Senior Living, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Red Bank, NJ. This temporary role focuses on keeping residents and staff in a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment.

Responsibilities include basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, drywall installation, tool use, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Proficiency with hand and power tools and timely work order management are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 6-12 months experience in trades preferred.
• Experience with basic plumbing, carpentry and electrical work.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools; able to perform drywall installation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate documentation of work orders and task progress.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors performing services at the facility.
• Provide courteous assistance to residents, co-workers, and visitors.
• Respond to emergency calls outside regular work hours as needed.
• Complete tasks in a timely, effective, and cost-efficient manner.
• Leave detailed communication in apartments when residents are not present during service.
• Adhere to fire and safety procedures and use PPE as required.

The Atrium at Navesink is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team!

The Atrium is a Springpoint Senior Living Community located in Red Bank, NJ. We are currently in search of a temporary Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a valued member of our team, the Maintenance Mechanic plays a vital role in ensuring a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for our residents and staff.

Responsibilities:

Skills needed: Basic plumbing, carpentry, and electrical experience including drywall installation. Proficiency with hand and power tools. Experience with painting. Ability to lift 50 lbs

Utilize an electronic work order system for task management and tracking.

• Maintain accurate documentation of work completed, including time and scope, through work order forms.

Coordinate effectively with vendors and contractors performing services at the facility.

Provide courteous assistance to residents, co-workers, and visitors; represent the facility in a professional manner.

Respond to emergency calls outside regular work hours as needed.

Ensure all tasks are completed in a timely, effective, and cost-efficient manner.

Submit completed work orders at the end of each day.

Leave detailed communication in apartments when residents are not present during service.

Foster positive, professional relationships with staff, residents, and guests.

Adhere to all fire and safety procedures and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
