The Maintenance employee is responsible for efficient operation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment in a PVC production environment.
This position works closely with Maintenance Leads, Maintenance Technicians, Production Supervisors, and Machine Operators to keep equipment operating safely and minimize downtime. The Maintenance employee is expected to develop basic mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and troubleshooting skills through hands‑on training and experience.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1-3 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and welding knowledge is required, with the ability to read schematics in all related areas. Experience with computers and basic keyboarding skills.
Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios and percentages. Ability to work with the metric system.
Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in changing situations. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to make accurate and timely decisions in a stressful environment.
