The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in a high-speed industrial environment, strong mechanical skills, PLC troubleshooting, and the ability to read schematics; the role involves a second shift 6:00 pm–6:30 am and weekend availability.

Competitive pay range is $20.00 to $24.00 per hour DOE with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience in a high-speed, industrial environment.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturers' specifications and mechanical schematics.
• Basic computer skills for reporting maintenance tasks.
• Previous PLC troubleshooting and programming experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative and corrective maintenance to production lines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and repair machinery.
• Overhaul and install mechanical equipment and systems.
• Rebuild, fabricate, and weld mechanical parts and components.
• Perform routine facility maintenance and ensure a clean, safe working environment.
• Assist with change-overs and continuous improvement of production processes.
• Troubleshoot and program Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting production lines. The ideal candidate will have mechanical and technical aptitude, previous experience in a high-speed industrial environment, and the ability to troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on equipment.

Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Orlando, FL

Pay Range: $20.00 - $24.00/hr (DOE)

Schedule: 2nd shift working 6:00 pm - 6:30 am (must be available on weekends)
