Job summary

Joinimagine is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to maintain and repair warehouse equipment, forklifts, conveyors, and power tools across our facilities in Northlake, TX. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and timely repairs to keep operations running smoothly.

You will inspect and service HVAC, electrical systems, and building facilities, manage parts inventory, and ensure safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Pass DOT exam.
• Pass a mechanical aptitude test.
• 2+ years facility maintenance experience.
• 6 months related experience.
• 2-5 years equipment maintenance experience.
• 1 year of fleet experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedule daily maintenance work.
• Perform repairs on forklifts, conveyors, and other warehouse power equipment.
• Execute preventative maintenance programs for machines and equipment.
• Review inspection forms for maintenance needs.
• Ensure maintenance work meets company standards.
• Monitor vehicle condition and driver compliance with policies.
• Manage parts inventory efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Maintain HVAC system.
• Perform minor water and electrical repairs as needed.
• Carry out additional preventative maintenance tasks.
• Perform maintenance or carpentry on floors, walls, doors.
• Ensure safety equipment is in working order.
• Complete required maintenance reports.
• Answer security/alarm calls as needed.

Job description

Role Purpose:

Maintain and repair the warehouse vehicles including all forklift, trailers, conveyors and power equipment. Provide mechanical support, including diagnosis and solution, for a dedicated delivery system including preventative maintenance, major repairs, and accident repairs. Also responsible for the general maintenance of the building and facilities including water, heating, air conditioning, and electrical maintenance.

Key Accountabilities:

• Schedule daily maintenance work.
• Perform all repairs on forklifts, conveyors, maintenance equipment and other warehouse power equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance programs on all machines and equipment to ensure service reliability.
• Review pre-trip and post-trip inspection forms for immediate maintenance requirements.
• Ensure all maintenance work performed both internally and externally is performed to company standards.
• Monitor vehicle condition and performance to ensure driver compliance of company driving policies.
• Manage parts inventory at the most economic level for efficient operation of the system.
• Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area.
• Maintain HVAC system.
• Do minor maintenance as needed for water and electrical repairs.
• Carry out preventative maintenance programs.
• Perform maintenance or general carpentry on items such as floors, walls, doors, etc.
• Ensure all safety equipment is in proper working order.
• Complete required reports when maintenance tasks are completed.
• Answer security/alarm calls as needed.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Pass Department of Transportation exam
• Pass a mechanical aptitude test
• 2+ years of previous facility maintenance experience
• 6 months related experience
• 2-5 years equipment maintenance experience
• 1 year of fleet experience
