Westaff is seeking Entry-Level Maintenance Mechanics to join their team! Openings are available in Meriden, Middletown, and Miford, CT.

The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing/production machinery maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various mechanical systems.

Hours and pay vary based on location.

Maintenance Mechanic Job Duties:

1. Inspect, repair, adjust, and maintain production equipment to keep it functioning optimally.
2. Set up, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment malfunctions reported by line supervisors.
3. Test operate production machinery before and after repairs.
4. Operate drills, grinders, and manual tools to repair and maintain equipment.
5. Communicate repair progress, potential problems, and equipment status to supervisors and maintenance shifts.
6. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues early.
7. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and materials used.
