Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production and facility equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role supports equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency through preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

The position is permanent and onsite in Machesney Park, IL, with a pay range of $66,500 to $72,800 per year. Qualifications include experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, welding, and reading

Qualifications

• Experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, Maintenance Technician, or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with motors, conveyors, pumps, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
• Perform welding, fabrication, and general mechanical repairs as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Pay and Benefits
