Job summary

WK Kellogg Co in Lancaster, PA is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic on 2nd shift (3pm – 11pm). You’ll perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, pumps, gearboxes and hydraulics to keep production equipment operating safely and reliably.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll work with electricians and automation techs, document activities in SAP, read blueprints, and help uphold GMP and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical certification/associate degree in mechanical maintenance OR 4 years equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, troubleshooting techniques, and safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office and SAP or ERP maintenance systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you’ll help bring cereal to customers by ensuring our production equipment is operating efficiently. This includes ensuring optimal performance, safety, and reliability of machinery used in production and processing operations. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and working closely with other maintenance personnel, production operators, and engineering staff to ensure equipment uptime and operational efficiency.

Here Is What You Will Be Doing

• Ability to fabricate simple parts and perform rigging.
• Food or drug manufacturing experience aligned to GMP.
• Ability to identify different lubrication types/specs.

Hourly Rate: $44.56/hr
