Job summary

NextDeavor is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to keep production equipment running reliably on the 2nd shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, Monday-Friday) in the US/Eastern time zone. You will install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing machinery while supporting production teams onsite.

Applicants should have 2-4 years of mechanic experience, forklift certification, and formal training or apprenticeship in mechanical or related systems.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of mechanic experience (listed in the role).
  • Forklift certification and proficiency moving large equipment.
  • Formal training or apprenticeship in mechanical, facilities, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems, or equivalent experience.
  • General knowledge of codes and regulations related to equipment and facilities.
  • Knowledge of shop math and precision measuring equipment.
  • Ability to perform physical work including climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, balancing, and handling materials.

Responsibilities

Become a Key Player as a Maintenance Mechanic

You will keep production equipment running reliably by performing installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on manufacturing machinery. You will directly support production teams and work onsite on the 2nd shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, Monday-Friday) in the US/Eastern time zone.

Pay Range

$37.36 - $46.70/hour
