TSA, part of the Ryerson Family of Companies is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a Maintenance Mechanic you are responsible for a wide range of activities in the area of overall Plant and Facilities maintenance.

Roles And Responsibilities

Always works in a safe and efficient manner
Repairs and maintains plant equipment in an efficient manner on a daily basis
Creates and utilizes preventive maintenance program and keeps files up-to-date
Helps to eliminate machine downtime
Coordinates outside maintenance services as required
Orders parts as required to keep equipment operating in a safe/efficient basis
Follows all Company ISO policies and procedures
All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
1-3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility, preferably steel processing
Working knowledge of electricity, welding & burning, hydraulic repair
Machine repair, crane repair, preventive maintenance programs
Must be able to read blueprints and also order parts and supplies
Physical ability to pass physical requirements exam for vision, hearing, and mobility

Salary: $30 -$35 per hour. A starting salary higher than $30 per hour is based on experience and education that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements and is commensurate with the compensation scale.
