ImageFIRST Healthcare Laundry Specialists in Los Angeles seeks a Maintenance Mechanic with an electrical background to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility machinery in a fast-paced environment. The role offers a $30.00-$35.00/hour rate, a 2am-10:30am schedule, Monday-Friday, with overtime and weekend work as needed, and 90-day training.

You’ll install and service equipment, write SOPs, program PLCs, and support safety and tooling management while joining a culture focused on respect,

Qualifications

• Advanced skills (Journeyman level) in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems, plumbing, carpentry, piping systems, and PLC programming.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Manual dexterity for operating machinery and computers.
• Lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility machinery.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on machinery.
• Write and maintain SOPs and JSAs.
• Program PLCs and maintain maintenance logs.
• Coordinate with operators and management; order parts.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Join our Los Angeles team as a Maintenance Mechanic! We're seeking an energetic professional with an electrical background who can troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Rate of pay: $30.00-$35.00/hour

Schedule: 2am-10:30am

Monday - Friday

*Overtime and Weekends as needed

Training - 90 Days (Flexibility required)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility machinery
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery
• Troubleshoot and repair facility machinery
• Write and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs)
• Program PLC's
• Complete daily maintenance and repair logs
• Communicate with operators and management
• Maintain and secure work tools
• Clean and maintain work area
• Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use
• Other duties as assigned
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees
• Order tools and machinery inventory parts

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent
• Advanced skills (Journeyman level) required in one or more of the following areas: HVAC, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems, plumbing, carpentry, piping systems, and PLC programming
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment.
• Work involves frequent lifting of materials up to 30 pounds.
• Machinery and tool operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats.
