Job summary

ImageFIRST Healthcare Laundry Specialists is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Pennsylvania. You will install, service, troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and help ensure safe, efficient operations in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires a background in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic systems, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, welding or piping, plus the ability to read blueprints. Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have working knowledge in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic/pneumatic, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, welding, piping systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair of industrial machinery.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain SOPs and JSAs; complete daily maintenance logs.
• Communicate with Production Associates and Management; train as requested.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

HOURLY RANGE: $33.00 - $38.00 PER HOUR

Due to tremendous growth throughout the company, we are seeking a Maintenance Technician with critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to join our team!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on industrial machinery
• Write, maintain, and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs)
• Complete daily maintenance and repair logs
• Communicate with Production Associates and Management
• Maintain and secure work tools
• Clean and maintain work area
• Follow all safety procedures
• Provide training as requested
• Order tools and machinery inventory parts
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Working knowledge, education or experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Electrical systems
  • Mechanical systems
  • Hydraulic & pneumatic systems
  • Plumbing
  • Carpentry
  • HVAC
  • Welding
  • Piping systems
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
• High school diploma or equivalent or technical school training preferred
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds required
• Regular, consistent attendance of scheduled shifts is required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment
• Work involves frequent lifting of materials up to 30 pounds
• Machinery and tool operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, and work boots
