Job summary

Future Aviation, Inc. in Southwest Florida is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The role involves maintaining building appearance and functionality in a large aviation component MRO facility.

Essential duties include painting, plumbing, electrical work, and preventive maintenance of machines and facilities, with opportunities to perform handyman construction and coordinate with vendors. At least two years of relevant experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains buildings, performing routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring.
• Replaces air conditioner filters at scheduled intervals.
• Repairs and maintains the physical structure of the facility.
• Installs, programs and repairs automated equipment.
• Checks and replaces light bulbs as needed.
• Cleans and maintains the overall appearance of the facility.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities.
• Performs handyman construction duties such as fabrication and repair of counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures.
• Coordinate with vendors on work orders to repair facility or equipment when necessary
• Notifies management of needed repairs or unusual noise/operation of equipment.
• Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.

EXPERIENCE

At least two years of relevant experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, squat, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
