Job summary

Mubea, a global automotive supplier, seeks an E-Bike Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance and skilled repairs on Electric Cargo Bikes. You will follow standard procedures to monitor performance, safety, and effectiveness, and log maintenance details in the system.

You will provide on-site support, troubleshoot equipment, install upgrades, run trials, and train users. A minimum associate degree and basic EV/bike experience are expected; strong computer and communication skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Associates degree - minimum.
• Minimal electrical vehicle/bike experience is preferred.
• General computer skills and strong communication are required.

Responsibilities

• Provides on-site support and technical assistance with electro-mechanical products and systems.
• Troubleshoots malfunctions by reworking, repairing, or modifying parts and assemblies.
• Installs new equipment or upgrades and performs routine maintenance to ensure function and uptime.
• Performs trial runs of machinery to test quality and performance, and trains users on operation and maintenance.
• Develops service reports documenting visits, issues, and troubleshooting actions and logs maintenance activities.
• Installs functional and structural parts in devices and lubricates/cleans components.

Job summary

E-Bike Mechanic performs preventive maintenance and skilled repairs Electric Cargo Bikes. Follows standard procedures to monitor equipment for performance, safety, and effectiveness. Performs equipment failure analysis to complete preventive and unscheduled maintenance. Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment problems. Logs equipment modifications and maintenance details in the designated system. Follows all safety procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

• Provides on-site support and technical assistance with various electro-mechanical products, equipment, and systems.
• Troubleshoots malfunctions by reworking, repairing, or modifying non-conforming parts and assemblies within equipment.
• Installs new equipment or upgrades and provides routine maintenance to ensure function and uptime.
• Performs trial runs of machinery to test quality and performance rates and trains users on operation and maintenance.
• Develops detailed service reports to document service visits, issues, and troubleshooting actions and logs and tracks maintenance activities
• Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.
• Lubricates and cleans parts.
