Job summary

Evonik is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to ensure continuous operation of facility machinery. You will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on mechanical systems to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, diagnosing issues, interpreting manuals and blueprints, and maintaining logs. Strong communication, physical fitness, and ability to work with minimal supervision are essential.

Qualifications

• Be able to communicate verbally and in writing to effectively transmit job information to others.
• Be in good general health and must be medically certifiable to wear respiratory protection equipment.
• Be physically able to perform job duties.
• Ability to perform job duties with a minimum of supervision.
• Possess ability to observe, record and analyze shipping and receiving information and decide proper course of action.
• Demonstrate the ability to operate a fork lift.

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Mechanic to ensure the continuous operation of machinery and equipment in our facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on mechanical systems

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment
• Diagnose mechanical issues and conduct repairs on equipment
• Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs
• Respond quickly to equipment malfunctions and production downtime

REQUIREMENTS

• Be able to communicate verbally and in writing to effectively transmit job information to others
• Be in good general health and must be medically certifiable to wear respiratory protection equipment
• Be physically able to perform job duties
• Ability to perform job duties with a minimum of supervision
• Possess ability to observe record and analyze shipping and receiving information and decide proper course of action
• Demonstrate the ability to operate a fork lift.
• Demonstrate the ability to move drums on and off pallets
• Must have good general knowledge in computer use
• Be able to pass a test on shipping hazardous materials
