Position Details: We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support our plant operations, ensuring machine efficiency through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. The role is based in Dixon, IL, working Monday through Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain production equipment to ensure optimal operation, including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Accurately complete all maintenance logs and administrative documentation.
• Troubleshoot industrial electrical systems, including A/C & D/C motors and drives.
• Read and interpret schematics.
• Understand hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical failures, and effectively resolve issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of five years' maintenance and/or electrical experience in an industrial setting.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Technical degree and experience in plastics industry are a plus.
