Job summary

UNC Finance and Operations in Chapel Hill, NC is seeking a facilities technician responsible for carpentry, electrical and plumbing repairs. The role requires coordinating with Housing and Residential Education and Facilities Services Housing Support to minimize disruption to students and staff.

A valid North Carolina driver’s license or ability to obtain one before start date is required. The position is on-site with UNC's Housing-related facilities maintenance teams.

$2,040.50 WITHIN 30 DAYS OF HIRE DATE & $2,040.50 12 MONTHS AFTER HIRE DATE.

Performs general carpentry, minor electrical and general plumbing repairs and has daily contact with Department of Housing and Residential Education and Facilities Services Housing Support staff and has responsibility for doing a great deal of planning to ensure minimal impact on students and staff while performing duties and responsibilities.
