Job description

We are looking for Maintenance Mechanics to join our team and assist both LA County and OC County facilities. We have 1st shift available and 2nd shift with premium pay.

Position Responsibilities :

• Maintain and repair various machines / equipment.
• Comply with all safety requirements and / or procedures.
• Maintain an acceptable attendance record.
• Must be able to use a time clock system effectively (punch in / out).
• Must be able to communicate safety hazards when observed.
• Follow all instructions provided by the department manager or designee.
• Perform the functions of the maintenance helper when needed.
• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions with CNC, Non-CNC, hydraulic presses, etc.
• Have basic knowledge of machine / equipment electrical components.
• Maintain records of installation and maintenance repairs.
• Communicate machine / equipment repair status.
• Research repair components or parts.
• Operate powered industrial equipment (forklifts).
• Operate aerial work platforms (scissor lifts).
• Maintain company housekeeping standards.
• Perform minor plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Work with minimal supervision.

Experience / Training / Education requirements :

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of skilled maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
• Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with HAZWOPER and hazardous waste management.
• Ability to read and interpret SDS.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, hydraulic systems, and PLCs.

• Ability to work independently.

This role requires compliance with ITAR and EAR regulations, meaning the candidate must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee). Salary range is $25-$45 hourly, based on experience and other factors. Only local candidates considered. Relocation assistance is not available.
