The Maintenance Mechanic performs a variety of duties within the Hospital, within any building on the Hospital campus, or anywhere on the hospital campus as directed to ensure all facilities are operating optimally as part of the Hospital's commitment to an environment which enhances the quality of patient care.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities- It is required that a Maintenance Mechanic is able to read and write in English and the Maintenance mechanic must be able to effectively communicate with staff, vendors, patients, and visitors.- Staff adheres to all I C.A.R.E. Standards.- The Maintenance Mechanic should be a mechanically inclined individual who is familiar with the use of common hand and power tools.- The Maintenance mechanic must follow all product use and warning instructions on all product packaging and ensure that all products purchased and stocked have an MSDS on file with the Assistant Director of Facilities.
