Job description

Our Maintenance Technicians are part of a highly skilled team that is critical in supporting production and ensuring equipment is operational in order to consistently meet production goals and our customers' needs.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Use of diagnostic equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes and other test instruments
  • Interpret electrical schematics, understanding technical manuals, and following written instructions
  • Remove, repair and reassemble machine components, including hydraulic and electro‑mechanical
  • Performing preventative and predictive maintenance
  • Maintain accurate records of projects including machine assembly, start up and installation
  • Participate in daily meetings, prioritizing and reviewing the daily schedule of work
  • Interface with all departments and other personnel in an effective and efficient manner
  • Self‑motivated, highly organized and able to multi‑task
  • Positively interface with fellow employees and customers in difficult situations
  • Contribute to the company and your team by identifying and communicating project improvements opportunities
  • Follow company process and procedures to comply with ISO and AS9100 standards
  • Follow basic shop housekeeping rules, leaving work areas in a clean and orderly manner
  • General facility preventative and repair maintenance
  • Follow all company safety practices and rules
Basic Qualifications
  • At least three years of experience as a manufacturing plant Mechanical Maintenance Technician troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing industrial machines
  • Experience with Siemens 840D, and Fanuc Controls and Drives
  • IME (Industrial Moving Equipment) License
  • Experience in PLC and/or CNC, and test equipment repair
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen due to the nature of the work, compliance with federal contracts, and exposure to ITAR/EAR‑regulated technical data.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Skilled in:
  • Able to express basic electronic, mechanical and hydraulic principles used in electrical and mechanical maintenance work assignments
  • Solid mechanical aptitude of complex mechanical assemblies including precision measurements
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving capabilities
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • An analytical and detail‑oriented personality
  • The knowledge of conventional welding, carpentry and plumbing
  • Must be capable of working efficiently and effectively at any shift such as days or weekends, including irregular and unscheduled hours, if required for machine breakdown and time‑sensitive projects
Work Environment
  • Vibration, or works near moving mechanical parts and high, precarious and congested places
  • Occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock
  • Work on or near moving mechanical parts
  • Exposed to prolonged risk of loud to moderate noise throughout the day. Hearing protection is recommended in all areas of the shop and is provided by the Company
Physical Demands
  • Walk; sit; stand; bend; lift; reach with hands and arms; stoop; kneel; crouch; crawl; use hands to fingers; handle or feel objects; and move continually during working hours
  • Lift over 50 pounds, along with over the head lifting
  • Vision abilities, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus
  • Able to work flexible hours – including over‑time, and weekends to meet customer demands
