Reworld Waste, LLC in Asheboro, NC is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to diagnose, repair and maintain plant equipment including shredders and conveyors. The role requires reading precision instruments and performing mechanical and electrical work across multiple systems.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting failures, welding and fabrication, minor plumbing tasks, and maintaining detailed maintenance records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 1 year verifiable maintenance experience or 5 years verifiable plant maintenance experience.
• Valid Driver's License; CDL a plus.
• Ability to read precision instruments and use diagnostic tools.
• Experience with industrial equipment maintenance, shredders, conveyors, forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect and repair mechanical and electrical parts of equipment such as shredders and conveyors.
• Troubleshoot and perform failure analysis of components and systems; assist with plumbing, electrical, carpentry as needed.
• Welding and fabricating to repair or build secondary equipment.
• Replace lighting, receptacles, bulbs, fans and basic plumbing as needed.
• Maintain equipment maintenance records.

Apply today!**About the role**The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is a skilled worker in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining company equipment such as conveyers, shredders and other plant maintenance. **Key Responsibilities*** Diagnose, inspect and repair all parts of equipment, mechanical, and electrical systems on equipment such as shredders, conveyers, some heavy equipment.* Troubleshoot and perform failure analysis of component parts and systems on building plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, and pump rebuilding and repair on facility as needed.* Welding and fabricating to repair and build and secondary equipment.* Replacing lighting receptacles/bulbs, fans, some minor plumbing upon occasion.* Complete equipment maintenance records. **Schedule:*** Monday-Friday 7 am to 5 pm (can be flexible with start time). Average 8-10 hours a day.
